    • List of farmers markets in Indiana, including winter markets 

  • Indiana Grown Store 

    • Online market for food and goods made locally in Indiana

  • Market Wagon 

    • Online farmers market with food from local producers with delivery service. They also include reusable ice packs in their deliveries that you can return when you receive your next order.

  • People for Urban Progress

    • Indianapolis based non-profit that takes unwanted materials, like the RCA dome and Amtrak seats, and turns them into bags, wallets and other items

  • Indy Urban Hardwood

    • Uses reclaimed wood from businesses, tree clearings, and homes to make custom furniture pieces for residential and commercial clients

  • Teachers' Treasures 

    • Teachers' Treasures obtains and distributes school supplies free to Marion County teachers of students in need (check eligibility requirements)

    • Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and more all in recyclable plastic-free containers. They also sell shampoo and conditioner bars with zero packaging. 

  • Lush 

    • Organic, vegan and cruelty free products, many of which do not come in packaging. Lush also has a container take-back program and makes all packaging out of 100% recycled materials.  

  • EcoRoots

    • Biodegradable and plastic-free beauty products including soaps, floss and shower necessities

  • Preserve

    • Toothbrushes and other household items made from recycled #5 plastics, which can also mailed back for recycling

    • Facebook Marketplace and Nextdoor are great services to buy and sell items in your community. You can easily contact sellers (your neighbors!) or list your own items.

    • Online thrift store with unbranded, branded, and designer pieces donated by shoppers.

    • Easily buy and sell used clothing and accessories online or through the app.

    • Buy and sell thrifted and designer/brand pieces. Women and mens clothes, and accessories. 

  • Thrift Stores

    • Find a local thrift store, garage sale, Plato’s Closet, Goodwill, or Salvation Army near you to shop used and low cost. Bonus: donate your gently used items while shopping!
